ब्रह्मा जी बोले हे पुत्र जिस प्रकार शिव जी ने अत्रि मुनि के पुत्र होकर अवतार लिया आप उसे कथा का वर्णन मत तुमसे करता हूं मेरे पुत्र रात्रि मेरी आज्ञा पाकर अपनी स्त्री सहित रेसिंग मुख पर्वत पर जाकर विद्या विंध्याचल के तट पर बैठे शिव के समान पुत्र की इच्छा से तप करने लगे इस प्रकार के कठिन तब से एक प्रज्वलित अग्नि उत्पन्न होकर समस्त संसार को जलने लगी तब तीनों देवता मुनीश्वर के साथ रात्रि के पास पहुंचे यात्री ने उन सब को अपने सम्मुख अपने मुख वाहनों सहित मुस्कुराते हुए खड़े देखा तब उन्होंने नेटवर्क कार्य विनय की आप तीनों देवता आई अब मैं आप में से किसकी सेवा करूं मैं तो एक ही देवता की जो सबका स्वामी है पूजा की थी फिर आप तीनों देवता एक ही साथ ही क्यों आए मैं इसे अत्यंत चिंतित हूं वस्तु आप मुझे इसका कारण बताएं यह सुनकर तीनों देवता बोले यात्री तुमने ईश्वर का बहुत तब किया है तथा यह स्पष्ट है कि हम तीनों देवता एक ही रूप है इससे प्रकट है कि तुम्हारा तीन पुत्र हम तीनों के अंत से उत्पन्न होंगे हे नारद इस प्रकार अत्री को व देकर हुए तीनों देवता अपने अपने स्थान को चले गए अत्री भी इच्छा अनुसार व प्रकार अत्यंत प्रसन्न हो अपने घर लौट आए नियत समय पर तीनों देवताओं के आंसर से अतरी के तीन पुत्र उत्पन्न हुए ब्रह्मा के अंत से चंद्रमा विष्णु जी के हंस से दतिया तथा शिव जी के अंत से दुर्वासा ने जन्म लिया यह नारद यहां पर मैं तुम्हें दुर्वासा के विषय में बताता हूं शिव जी ने दुर्वासा का शरीर धारण कर अनेक चरित्र किया तीनों ब्रह्मा तेज धारण कर सबका आधार किया तथा अनेक के धर्म की परीक्षा ली उनका प्रथम चरित्र यह है कि एक सूर्यवंशी राजा हम भी सवार विष्णु जी का परम भक्त तथा दृढ़ वटी था एक दिन उसने एकादशी का व्रत करके द्वादशी में पारण करने की इच्छा की इस समय दुर्वासा उनके पास जा पहुंची दुर्वासा अमृतसर की केवल परीक्षा लेने की इच्छा से वहां गई थी अमृतसर ने दुर्वासा को देखकर उनका अत्यंत आदर्श सत्कार किया तथा भोजन करने का निमंत्रण दिया दुर्वासा अंबिश्वर का यह निवेदन स्वीकार कर अपने शिष्यों सहित नदी तट पर स्नान के लिए चले गए वहां उन्होंने अंबेश्वर की परीक्षा लेने के लिए जानबूझकर विलंब किया राजा अंबेश्वर दुर्वासा की बाद देखते रहे इतने में द्वादशी समाप्त होने लगी उसे समय राजा अंबेश्वर ने प्रसारण में विज्ञान उपस्थित होते देख अत्यंत खेत के साथ ब्राह्मणों से पूछा तो ब्राह्मणों ने वेद के अनुसार अंबेश्वर को ज्ञान दिया कि आप प्रसारण करें अंबेश्वर ने ब्राह्मणों का आदेश पाकर व्रत का प्रसारण कर लिया दुर्वासा राजा अंबेश्वर के व्रत पालन करने का हाल जानकर अत्यंत क्रोधित हुए उन्होंने राजा के पास आकर यह चाहा कि राजा की भक्ति की परीक्षा ले परंतु यह सुदर्शन चक्र से भाग कर एक वर्ष तक तीनों लोक में फिरते रहे अंत में राजा की शरण में अपने पीछे चक्र को ले पहुंचे उन्होंने सोचा था कि यदि राजा वास्तव में ब्रह्म भक्त होगा तो अपने मन में लज्जित होकर मेरा दुख दूर करेगा और यदि विष्णु जी की पूरी भक्ति नहीं रखता होगा तो अपना व्रत छोड़कर देगा ऐसा विचार कर दुर्वासा अत्यंत क्रोधित होकर राजा हम भी ईश्वर हो श्राप देने लगे विष्णु जी के चक्र से दूर भाषा की गई इच्छा जान ली और वह अपना तेज बढ़कर दुर्वासा की और चला यह देखकर डर भाषा भागने लगे हुए सब देशों तथा सब देवताओं के लोग में फिर का राजा अंबेश्वर के पास लौट आए और बोले हे राजन हम तुम्हारी शरण में आए हैं नारद मूर्ख या नहीं जानते कि या सुनकर चक्र दुर्वासा के पीछे से हट गया तब राजा ने दुर्वासा को भोजन कराया स्वयं भी भोजन किया हे नारद उसे समय दुर्वासा ने अत्यंत तृप्ति तथा प्रसन्न होकर राजा को आशीर्वाद दिया और यह कहा है राजन तुम किसी प्रकार की चिंता मत करना हमने केवल तुम्हारी परीक्षा के लिए ही यह चरित्र किया है कितना का कर दुर्वासा अत्यंत प्रसन्न हो वहां से चले गए जब विष्णु जी दशरथ के पुत्र रामचंद्र रूप में अवतरित हुए उसे समय भी दुर्वासा ने ऐसा ही चरित्र किया था इस प्रकार श्री कृष्ण जी की परीक्षा लेकर उनको अपने रथ का पिछला वाला बनाया तथा उनकी ब्रह्म भक्त को देखकर उन्होंने बजरंग कर दिया फिर उन्होंने द्रौपदी की परीक्षा लेकर पांडवों को संतुष्ट किया

From then on, a blazing fire was generated and the whole world started burning. Then the three gods reached near Ratri with Muniswar. The traveller saw all of them standing in front of him smiling with their vehicles. Then he prayed that you three gods have come, now whom should I serve among you? I had worshipped only one god who is the master of all. Then why have you three gods come together? I am very worried about this. Please tell me the reason for this. Hearing this, the three gods said, traveller, you have praised God a lot and it is clear that we three gods are the same form. It is evident from this that your three sons will be born from the end of us three. O Narada, in this way, after giving blessings to Atri, all the three gods went to their respective places. Atri also returned to his home as per his wish, being very happy. Answers of the three gods From this, three sons of Atri were born; from the end of Brahma, Moon, from Vishnu ji's swan, Datia and from the end of Shiva, Durvasa was born. This Narad, here I tell you about Durvasa. Shiva ji took the body of Durvasa and performed many characters. By assuming the brilliance of the three Brahmas, he became the basis of all and tested the religion of many. His first character is that a Suryavanshi king, Ham Bhi Sawar, was a great devotee of Vishnu ji and was a steadfast devotee. One day he wished to observe Ekadashi and break his fast on Dwadashi. At this time, Durvasa reached him. Durvasa had gone there with the sole intention of testing Amritsar. Amritsar, on seeing Durvasa, gave him a very ideal welcome and invited him for food. Durvasa accepted Ambishwar's request and went to the river bank with his disciples to take a bath. There, he deliberately delayed to test Ambishwar. King Ambishwar kept watching Durvasa's words. Meanwhile, Dwadashi started ending. At that time, King Ambishwar, seeing science being present in the broadcast, asked the Brahmins with great enthusiasm. The Brahmins answered the Vedas. According to this, he gave the knowledge to Ambeshwar to broadcast it. Ambeshwar broadcasted the fast after getting the order of Brahmins. Durvasa became very angry after knowing the condition of fasting by king Ambeshwar. He came to the king and wanted to test the king's devotion, but he ran away from the Sudarshan Chakra and roamed in the three worlds for a year. Finally, he came to the king for shelter with the Chakra behind him. He thought that if the king is really a Brahma devotee, then he will feel ashamed in his heart and remove my sorrow, and if he does not have complete devotion of Vishnu ji, then he will give up his fast. Thinking this, Durvasa became very angry and started cursing the king, who is also God. Vishnu ji's Chakra understood the wish of Durvasa and increased its power and went towards Durvasa. Seeing this, people of all the countries and all the gods started running away in fear. Then the king returned to Ambeshwar and said, O king, we have come to your shelter. Foolish Narada, do you not know? Hearing this, the Chakra moved away from behind Durvasa. Then the king fed Durvasa and he himself also ate, O Narada. At that time, Durvasa felt very satisfied. And being pleased, he blessed the king and said, O king, you do not worry about anything, we have done this character only to test you. Durvasa being very pleased went away from there. When Vishnu Ji incarnated as Dasharath's son Ramchandra, at that time also Durvasa had done a similar character. In this way, after testing Shri Krishna Ji, he made him the rear driver of his chariot, and seeing his Brahma devotee, he made him Bajrang. Then he satisfied the Pandavas by testing Draupadi.
