ब्रह्मा जी बोले हे नारद वीरभद्र ने यह कहा कर यह स्थल को जलाकर भस्म कर दिया तथा गानों को आज्ञा दी शीघ्र ही काल पारले करो उसे समय वीरभद्र की आज्ञा सुनकर गणों ने क्रोधित होकर यज्ञ में उपस्थित देवता तथा मुनियों के दिन मूंछ तथा कैसे आदि सब खंड डालें और सबको शास्त्रों से मारा वीरभद्र का यह कृत देखकर देख पाल ने कुछ देर तक उनका सम्मान किया परंतु वे सब कुछ ही देर में परास्त हो गए या दशा देखकर सब देवता भाग खड़े हुए तथा उनका कोई भी उपाय सफल न हुआ शिवजी के गांड महा भयंकर 28 वन करके यज्ञ को नष्ट करने लगे यह देखकर अत्रि मुनि भाग कर विष्णु जी के चरणों में गिर पड़े और बोल ही विष्णु जी आप हमारी रक्षा करें हम आपकी शरण में आए हैं हम देवताओं तथा मुनिया आदि के दुखों का किसी प्रकार वर्णन करें आप इन शिव के गानों से उनकी रक्षा कीजिये दक्ष प्रजापति भी विष्णु जी से यही विनती कर उनके चरणों पर गिर पड़े और स्तुति करते हुए बोले हे विष्णु जी आप ऐसी कृपा करें कि जिससे यह गाना नष्ट हो जाए इन गानों ने आकर हमारा यज्ञ नष्ट कर डाला ऐसा निवेदन कर दक्ष विष्णु जी के सम्मुख हाथ जोड़कर खड़ा हुआ हे नारद इस प्रकार देवताओं तथा अध्यक्ष की विनती सुनकर विष्णु जी गानों पर क्रोधित होकर उससे लड़ने के लिए खड़े हुए विष्णु जी द्वारा स्मरण करते ही सब शास्त्र चले आए तब विष्णु जी रथ पर अरुण होकर रात भर चले उसे समय विष्णु जी गानों के सम्मुख खड़े होकर प्रज्वलित अग्नि के समान दिखाई पड़े रहे उन्होंने गानों को अपने 30 नंबरों से व्यवस्थित कार्य युद्ध भूमि से भाग दिए यह देखकर श्री महाकाली महा कुलभित होकर भयभीत शब्द करते हुए विष्णु जी के समीप चले काली की सेवा भी विष्णु जी के ऊपर चढ़ाई तथा विष्णु जी को चारों ओर से घेर लिया क्षेत्रफल भी अपने समस्त सी सहित विष्णु जी से लड़ने के लिए चले भैरू भी विष्णु जी के स्वामी पाप पहुंचे इस प्रकार इन तीनों विष्णु हो जिससे बड़ा युद्ध हुआ इस युद्ध में विष्णु जी बहुत सी सी मारे गए अंत में विष्णु जी ने सबको परास्त कर अपना तेज इतना बढ़ाया की कोई उसे युद्ध न कर सके भाइयों काली तथा क्षेत्रपाल विष्णु जी की सेवा के अंदर इस प्रकार घुस गए जिस प्रकार राहु चंद्रमा को घेर लेता है तब विष्णु जी ने अपना धनुष हाथ में लेकर तीखे बढ़ चलाएं तथा उनके साथ ही अपना संघ बजा दिया उसे समय जो देवता वीरभद्र के भाई से भाग गए थे वह सब पुनः विष्णु जी के समीप आ गए दोनों ओर से पुनः घोर युद्ध हुआ युद्ध में काली भैरव तथा क्षेत्रपाल ने देवताओं तथा विष्णु की बहुत से सुना को नष्ट कर डाला विष्णु ने भी योग माया से समस्त बानो को आप भी यांत्रिक कर चलाया तथा योग माया द्वारा शंख चक्र गदा पद्मधारण किए हुए अपने सामान अनेक पार्षद प्रकट किया जिन्होंने गानों को मारकर बहुत भय उत्पन्न किया हे नारद विष्णु की ऐसी योग माया को देखकर वीरभद्र ने अत्यंत क्रोधित होकर अपना त्रिशूल चलाईं जिससे विष्णु जी की सब योग माया नष्ट होगी तथा वह स्वयं अकेले ही रह गए तब वीरभद्र ने विष्णु जी के मस्ताक्स पर अपनी गधा का प्रहार किया विष्णु जी उसे पर प्रहार को ना सहेज कर पृथ्वी पर गिर पड़े उसे समय विश्व दोनों ओर से सेवा में आकर मच गई थोड़ी देर बाद विष्णु जी ने पुणे उठकर अपना चक्र हाथ में लिया जो प्रलय काल के आसन के सूर्य समान प्रकाश युक्त था उसको देखकर सब गाना आचार्य चकित हो विष्णु जी के सम्मुख नाटक रहा है साकेत तब विरुद्ध रहने शिव जी का ध्यान किया जिससे उसकी चक्र को और रोक देने की शक्ति प्राप्ति हुई उसे बोल से वीरभद्र ने उसे स्रावित को नहीं चलने दिया

On hearing Veerbhadra's order, the Ganas got angry and cut off the moustaches and hair of the Gods and sages present in the yagya and beat them all with weapons. Seeing this act of Veerbhadra, the Ganas respected him for some time but they were all defeated in a short while. Seeing his condition, all the Gods ran away and none of their measures succeeded. Shiva started destroying the yagya by making a very terrifying attack. Seeing this, Atri Muni ran and fell at the feet of Vishnu Ji and said, Vishnu Ji, please protect us, we have come to your refuge. Please describe the sufferings of the Gods and Munis etc. in some way. Please protect them from these songs of Shiva. Daksh Prajapati also prayed to Vishnu Ji and fell at his feet and while praising him said, O Vishnu Ji, please bless us so that this song gets destroyed. These songs came and destroyed our yagya. Making such a request, Daksh stood in front of Vishnu Ji with folded hands. O Narada, after listening to the request of the gods and the president, Vishnu ji became angry with the demons and stood up to fight with them. As soon as Vishnu ji remembered them, all the scriptures came into action. Then Vishnu ji rode his chariot and moved all night. At that time Vishnu ji stood in front of the demons and looked like a blazing fire. He chased the demons away from the battlefield with his 30 weapons. Seeing this, Shri Mahakali became very angry and went near Vishnu ji while making frightened sounds. Kali also attacked Vishnu ji and surrounded Vishnu ji from all sides. Akhya also went to fight with Vishnu ji with all his soldiers. Bhairu also became the master of Vishnu ji. In this way, a big war took place between these three Vishnus, due to which many soldiers of Vishnu were killed in this war. In the end, Vishnu ji defeated everyone and increased his power so much that no one could fight him. Brothers Kali and Kshetrapal entered Vishnu ji's army in the same way as Rahu surrounds the moon. Then Vishnu ji took his bow in his hand and moved forward with sharp weapons and played his sword along with them. At that time, all the gods who had fled from Veerbhadra's brother, came back again. Vishnu ji came near him. A fierce battle took place from both the sides again. In the battle, Kali, Bhairav and Kshetrapal destroyed many of the gods and Vishnu's warriors. Vishnu also mechanically fired all his arrows with the help of Yog Maya and manifested many councillors like himself holding conch, chakra, mace and lotus through Yog Maya. Who killed the warriors and created a lot of fear. Oh Narada. Seeing such Yog Maya of Vishnu, Veerbhadra got very angry and fired his trident, which destroyed all the Yog Maya of Vishnu ji and he himself was left alone. Then Veerbhadra attacked Vishnu ji's head with his trident. Vishnu ji could not save himself from that attack and fell on the earth. At that time, the world came together from both the sides. After a while, Vishnu ji got up and took his Chakra in his hand, which was as bright as the Sun at the time of doomsday. Seeing this, all the warriors were astonished. Saket then meditated on Lord Shiva, who was standing opposite to him, due to which he got the power to stop his Chakra further. By speaking to him, Veerbhadra did not let the chariot move.
