ब्रह्मा जी ने कहा हे नारद 28 में द्वापर युग में देवताओं द्वारा प्रार्थना किए जाने पर विष्णु जी ने व्यास का अवतार लिया तथा वेद के विभाग कर पुराने को प्रकट किया परंतु जब उनका मत प्रसिद्ध ना हुआ तब उन्होंने शिवजी की स्तुति करते हुए यह मांगा की है प्रभु आप मुझे इस कार्य में सहायता प्रदान करें तथा मेरी मत का प्रचार करने में सहायक हो उसे समय शिव जी ने ब्याज जी की प्रार्थना पर अवतार लिया और उसके मत का प्रचार करने में सहायक बने इस ब्रिटेन को सुनना कर नारद जी बोले ही पिता मेरी इच्छा है कि आप इस कथा को विस्तार पूर्वक सुनाएं ब्रह्मा जी बोले अच्छा है मैं इसे विस्तार पूर्वक कहता हूं इस वृत्तांत में शिवजी एवं विष्णु जी के लीला चरित्र का वर्णन है हे नारद पूर्व काल में जब देव सुर संग्राम हुआ था उसे समय बहुत से देते मारे गए थे अवसर पाकर हुए सब देते पुणे पृथ्वी पर उत्पन्न हुए और कुसंगति में पढ़कर को मार्ग पर चलने लगे हुए विपरीत बातें करते हुए अपने अहंकार में भरकर अनेक प्रकार के कुकर्म करने लगे वह इस प्रकार इंद्रियों के वसीभूत हुए कि उनमें भी परस्पर शत्रुता फैल गई उसे समय देवताओं ने संसार में लाचारी बढ़ता हुआ देख विष्णु जी की सेवा में पहुंचा अपने दुख का वर्णन किया तथा उसने वह कष्ट दूर करने की कथा प्रार्थना की उसे समय भगवान विष्णु जी ने उनकी प्रार्थना को स्वीकार करते हुए पाराशर के पुत्र के रूप में पृथ्वी पर जन्म लिया संसार में हुए कृष्ण तृतीया पान के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए उनकी माता का नाम सत्यवती था यह नारद उन कृष्ण द्वितीया पान ब्याज रूप विष्णु जी ने वेद के कर विभाग करके उनके शाखों को फैलाया तथा पुराणों का निर्माण किया परंतु संसार में उनका प्रचार किसी भी प्रकार ना हो सका यह देखकर ब्याज की सब देवताओं तथा ऋषि मुनियों सहित कमलापति विष्णु जी की शरण में गए और उसकी प्रार्थना करते हुए कहने लगे हे प्रभु मेरे पुराने का संसार में कुछ भी अनदर नहीं हो रहा है बस तू आप मेरे मत का प्रचार करने में सहायक हो उसे समय विष्णु जी ने उन्हें संतान देते हुए इस प्रकार कहा है व्यास जी कथा ऋषि मुनि तुम निश्चित होकर अपने घर जाओ हम पृथ्वी पर कृष्ण रूप में अवतार लेकर तुम्हारे दुख को दूर करेंगे भगवान विष्णु जी के ऐसे वचन सुनकर सब लोग अपने-अपने घर लौट आए परंतु विष्णु जी ने यदुवंशी वासुदेव के घर कृष्ण रूप में अवतार लिया उनका स्मरण करने मात्र से ही मनुष्य के संपूर्ण पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं

They were so overcome by the senses that enmity spread among them too. At that time, seeing the increasing helplessness in the world, the gods narrated to Lord Vishnu, He reached the service of Vyasa and narrated his sorrow and prayed to remove his pain. At that time Lord Vishnu accepted his prayer and took birth on earth as the son of Parashar. He was born in the world as Krishna Tritiya Paan. His mother's name was Satyavati. This Narad was born on that Krishna Dwitiya Paan. Vishnu Ji in the form of interest divided the Vedas and spread their branches and created the Puranas, but they could not be propagated in the world in any way. Seeing this, Kamalapati along with all the gods and sages went to the shelter of Vishnu Ji and while praying to him said, O Lord, nothing is happening in the world of my old one. You just help me in propagating my opinion. At that time Vishnu Ji gave him a child and said this - Vyasa Ji's story, sage, you go to your home with peace of mind. We will take incarnation on earth in the form of Krishna and remove your sorrow. Hearing such words of Lord Vishnu, everyone returned to their homes, but Vishnu Ji took incarnation in the form of Krishna in the house of Yaduvanshi Vasudev.
