हे नारद एक दिन राजा देवदास की पत्नी लीलावती ने उचित अवसर जानकर अपने पति से यह कहा है स्वामी इन दोनों काशीपुरी में एक ब्राह्मण आया हुआ है वह संपूर्ण विधाओं की खान है ही पति वह ब्राह्मण दर्शन करने की योग्य है आज तुम मेरी यही इच्छा है कि आप भी उसका दर्शन प्राप्त करें रानी के मुख से यह शब्द सुनकर राजा ने प्रसन्न होकर कहा है प्रिया माय अवश्य ही ऐसा ब्राह्मण का दर्शन प्राप्त करना चाहूंगा तुम उसे सीख रही यहां बुलाओ यह सुनकर रानी ने अपने एक सखी को भेज कर गणेश जी की हो बुला लिया जिस समय गणेश जी राजा के सामने पहुंचे उसे समय राजा को ऐसा अनुभव हुआ मानो साक्षात् ब्रह्म तेज ही शरीर धारण किए चला आया हो राजा ने अपने अत्यंत प्रसन्नता पूर्वक उन्हें प्रणाम किया तथा गणपति ने भी वेद मित्रों द्वारा उसे आशीर्वाद दिया दोनों ओर से कुशल परेशान होने के बाद वार्तालाप प्रारंभ हुआ दोनों ही धर्म में यज्ञ तथा बुद्धिमान थे वास्तु गणेश जी ने परिचय प्राप्त करके राजा को अत्यंत प्रसन्नता हुई जब गणेश जी पिता होकर चले गए उसे समय राजा ने रानी की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा है प्रिया तुमने इस ब्राह्मण के संबंध में जो प्रशंसा की थी वास्तव में वह सर्वत्र सत्य थी या ब्राह्मण निश्चय ही त्रिकालदर्शी हैं अब मैं प्रातः कालिस ब्राह्मण का फिर बुलाकर अपनी भविष्य के सम्मान में कुछ प्रश्न करूंगा हे नारद प्रातः काल होते ही राजा देवदास ने गणेश जी को फिर बुलाया भेजो और उन्हें रत्न आदि की बहुमूल्य भेद देकर इस प्रकार कहने लगा है श्रेष्ठ मैंने अपने देश का धरमपूर्वक राज किया है और अपने प्रजा को पुत्र के समान पाला है अपने धर्म के कारण मैं अनेक प्रकार के सांसारिक भोग भी प्राप्त किए हैं तथा बहुत प्रकार के दान भी दिए हैं ब्राह्मण से अधिक श्रेष्ठ मैं देवताओं को भी नहीं मानता देवताओं ने मुझे प्रचूत करने के लिए अनेक आजा कारण आर्य किया परंतु ब्राह्मणों का सेवक होने के कारण हुए मेरा कुछ भी नहीं बिगाड़ सके मैं अब तक अपने धर्म को एक पल के लिए भी नहीं छोड़ा है इसलिए मेरी लोक में कभी निंदा नहीं हुई है मेरे हृदय में किसी प्रकार की अभिलाषा शेष नहीं रही है और ना किसी वस्तु की इच्छा होती है मेरा हृदय त्याग ब्रिज की ओर झुकता चला जा रहा है ना जाने मुझे या क्या हो गया है सो नहीं कर सकता अब आप भली भांति विचार करके मुझे इस सब का कारण बताने की कृपा करें हे नारद राजा की इस वचनों को सुनकर ब्रह्म रूप धारी गणेश जी ने उत्तर दिया है राजन तुमने सब मुझे यह बात पूछी है तो मैं इसका अवश्य उत्तर दूंगा राजनीति तथा वेद का कथन है कि राजाओं के सम्मुख बिना पूछे कोई बात नहीं कहानी चाहिए अब तो आप मैं तुम्हें यह बताता हूं कि तुम्हारे मन ना लगने का कारण क्या है यह नृप श्रेष्ठ तुम वास्तव में बड़ी भाग्यशाली हो क्योंकि ब्राह्मणों के चरण कमल में तुम्हारा आग्रह प्रेम है तुम्हारा शरीर यकृति एवं विद्या से अलंकृत है तुम्हारा तेज अग्नि के समान है और सत्य पालन में तुम साक्षात धर्मराज के तुल्य हो हे राजन तुम ऊंचाई में हिमालय पर्वत के समान और राजाओं में मनु के समान हो इसके साथ ही पवित्रता में गंगा के समान मुक्ति देने में काशी के समान द दूर करने में मेक के समान संघार करने में शिव के समान पालन करने में विष्णु के समान यज्ञ करने में ब्रह्मा जी के समान वॉच चला में सरस्वती के समान तथा सुंदरता में कामदेव के समान हो लक्ष्मी तुम्हारे हाथ में निवास करती है तुम्हारे मुंह को देखकर जो लक्ष्मण प्रतीत होते हैं वह हमने तुमसे कहे हैं अब तुम हमारी एक बात और सुनो वह बात यह है कि आज से 18 दिन उत्तर दिशा से एक ब्राह्मण तुम्हारे पास आएगा वह तुम्हें जिस बात का उपदेश करेगा तुम उसे सत्य समझना और उसके अनुसार आचरण भी करना उसकी आज्ञा मानव ने से तुम्हारे संपूर्ण मनोरथ सिद्ध होंगे इतना कह कर ब्रह्म रूप धारी गणपति अपने स्थान को लौट आए हे नाथ राजा देव दास गणपति द्वारा कहे हुए इन वचनों को अत्यंत गुप्त रखकर समय की प्रतीक्षा करने लगा इस प्रकार गणपति भी अपने पिता की आज्ञा का पालन करके अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुए दादू प्रांत हुए अनेक रूप धारण कर्क राशि में स्थित हो गए जिस समय काशी पुरी राजा देवदास के अधीन ना थी उसे समय भी गणेश जी वहां आने की स्थान पर विराजमान थे उन्हें सब स्थान पर जाकर हुए पुणे प्रतिष्ठा हो गए हुए सभी स्थान सीधे क्षेत्र है जिस समय विष्णु जी ने आकर राजा देवदास को काशी से भगाया और शिवजी के मंत्र आंचल पर्वत से उतरकर पुणे काशी को बरसाया उसे समय सर्वप्रथम शिवजी ने गणेश जी की ही प्रशंसा की थी दादू प्राण गणेश जी सर्वप्रथम होकर वहीं सुख से निवास करने लगे शिवजी ने अपने काशीपुरी की रक्षा में निर्मित चारों ओर योगिनियों को स्थापित की किया था फिर उन्हें साथ और ग्रह गानों को आठवीं और ब्रह्मा को तथा सब और रक्षा करने के हेतु विष्णु जी को स्थापित किया यह सभी गढ़ तथा देवता अपने-अपने भक्तों को अत्यंत आनंद प्रदान करने वाले हैं शिवजी का यह चरित्र दोनों लोगों में प्रसंसनीय तथा सब पूर्ण मानव कामनाओं को पूरा करने वाले हैं जो लोग इस चरित्र को ध्यान पूर्वक सुनते हैं हुए दोनों लोग में आनंद प्राप्त करते हैं

O Narada, one day Lilavati, the wife of king Devdas, knowing the right opportunity, said to her husband, "Swami, a Brahmin has come to Kashipuri. He is a mine of all the knowledge. Hearing these words from the queen, the king became happy and said, "Priya Maa, I would definitely like to see such a Brahmin. You are learning him. Call him here." Hearing this, the queen sent one of her friends and called Ganesh ji. When Ganesh ji came in front of the king, the king felt as if the Brahma's brilliance itself had come in human form. The king bowed to him with great joy and Ganapati also blessed him with the help of his friends. After being satisfied from both sides, the conversation began. Both were yagya and wise in religion. The king was very happy to get introduced to Ganesh ji. When Ganesh ji left after becoming a father, the king praised the queen and said, "Priya, the praise you had given about this Brahmin was in fact true everywhere. Brahmins are certainly clairvoyant." I will call Kalis Brahmin again in the morning and ask some questions in respect of my future. O Narada. In the morning, King Devdas called Ganesh Ji again and gave him precious gems etc. and said, O best of all, I have ruled my country with righteousness and raised my subjects like my sons. Because of my religion, I have also received many types of worldly pleasures and have also given many types of donations. I do not consider even the gods to be better than Brahmins. The gods have tried many ways to make me prosperous, but being a servant of Brahmins, they could not harm me in any way. Till now, I have not left my religion even for a moment, that is why I have never been criticized in this world. There is no desire left in my heart and I do not wish for anything. My heart is leaning towards renunciation. I do not know what has happened to me, I cannot do that. Now, after thinking well, please tell me the reason for all this. O Narada, on hearing these words of the king, Ganesh Ji in the form of Brahma replied, O King, you have done all this. If you have asked me this question, I will surely answer it. Politics and Vedas say that no one should tell anything in front of kings without asking. Now I will tell you the reason for your lack of interest. O great king, you are indeed very fortunate because you have love for the feet of Brahmins. Your body is decorated with liver and knowledge. Your brilliance is like fire and in upholding truth, you are like Dharmaraj himself. O king, you are like the Himalayas in height and like Manu among kings. Along with this, in purity, you are like Ganga, in giving salvation, like Kashi, in removing sorrow, like Mek, in destruction, like Shiva, in upholding, like Vishnu, in performing yagya, like Brahma ji, in watchdog, like Saraswati and in beauty, you are like Kaamdev. Lakshmi resides in your hand. Looking at your face, the Laxman that appears, we have told you about him. Now listen to one more thing of ours. That thing is that 18 days from today, a Brahmin will come to you from the north direction. Whatever he will preach to you, you should consider it to be true and also act accordingly. Humans will obey his orders. All your wishes will be fulfilled. Saying this, Ganapati in the form of Brahma returned to his place. O Lord, King Dev Das kept these words spoken by Ganapati very secret and started waiting for the right time. In this way, Ganapati also became very happy after obeying his father's command. Dadu took many forms and settled in the Cancer zodiac. When Kashi Puri was not under the rule of King Devdas, at that time also Ganesh ji was seated at the place of arrival. He went to all the places and got established there. All the places are direct areas. When Vishnu ji came and chased King Devdas away from Kashi and showered Shiva's mantra on Kashi by descending from the Anchal mountain, at that time Shiva ji praised Ganesh ji first. Dadu Pran Ganesh ji was the first to be there and started living there happily. Shiva ji had established yoginis all around to protect his Kashi Puri. Then he established Vishnu ji along with them and the planets, the eighth and Brahma and for protecting everyone, all these forts and gods give immense joy to their devotees. This is the worship of Shiva ji. The character is praiseworthy among both the people and fulfills all the human desires. Those who listen to this character carefully get happiness from both the people.
